NOTICE OF REGULARLY CALLED MEETING OF THE BROOKHAVEN-LINCOLN COUNTY CIVIL DEFENSE COUNCIL
A special called meeting of the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Civil Defense Council, duly called by the Executive Director, will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Lincoln County Civil Defense Offices located at 1069 Old Hwy 51 NE, Brookhaven, Mississippi.
The subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on this notice.

The Civil Defense Council of Brookhaven and Lincoln County are seeking applications for the position of Emergency Manager / Homeland Security Director.  Job description and application can be obtained from the Chancery Clerks office in the Government Complex at 301 S. First St., Brookhaven, MS or downloaded from the Lincoln County website at www.golincolnms.com

Applications must be returned to the Chancery Clerks office by 5:00 PM on Friday March 12, 2021.

Homestead exemption enables a property owner to receive a tax credit of up to $300.00 on residential property taxes.  The time to apply for homestead exemption is between January 1 and March 31 of the year AFTER you move into your home.  Apply at the Tax Assessor's office.
